Things are looking up

Baseball Display at the Oklahoma History Museum

Two good things happen tomorrow.
1) The last day of February. (Why is it that the shortest month of the year always seems like the longest one?)
2) Spring training games begin which means Opening Day is not that far off. (April 1st!)

A Yankee penant...now if you really want to get me excited replace that with an Atlanta Braves banner! :)

In reality I'm not a big baseball fan, but I've worked for several years with some rabid Braves fans. I must admit that some of their excitement has rubbed off on me. I'm always glad to see baseball season roll around.

The significance of the Yankee pennant is the Oklahoma names on it. I think I obscured the "Mantle" name, but Allie Reynolds can be clearly seen.
